You need to get more information from the vet, that explanation would be unacceptable to me. Why is she on antibiotics if the vet didn't know what was wrong? What tests was the vet talking about, test for what and why wouldn't the test do any good when the vet suggested them?

The yellow substance is stomach bile, kinda like when a person has the dry heaves, there's only bile to throw up.

Get a second opinion from another vet who can give you more information on your pet's situation.

I would agree with the previous answer. Get a better answer.

If the problem hasn't happened for long, I guess maybe possibly it is ok for a vet not to do the test if they want to save you the money.

But if the problem continues to happen, it is easier to find another vet that will just search for the problem instead of fighting with a vet to tell them to do it.

Or maybe it can be as simple as the cat's diet. In any case a vet should tell you that too.

It could be a liver problem because she is bringing up bile and undigested food, take her back to the vet.Try plain chicken in her diet ,low fat ,smaller meals.

our cat does that too...as long as she is acting herself still..i tihnk its totally normal...it is probably the acids its stomach uses to digest hair/food and it didnt have any hair/food it its tummy..good luck!

I'm sorry, and I don't know what to say. Have you tried changing her food? Is she getting into anything? Plants?
