Maybe she smells the other dogs and is trying to mark her territory. Everytime she does this, if you catch her, I would immediately in a stern voice tell her no and take her outside right away. I know that with my puppy we trained him to pee on command. I used to take him outside every 20mins or so and while he was peeing I would say "pee, pee, pee, pee" after about a week of doing this all we had to do was take him outside and say "Teddy pee" and he would pee on command, same thing with poop. And he never mess's in the house anymore. Good luck with everything.

Ok well first I got my puppy from a shelter because she got taken away from her owners cause she was abused. And I had the SAME problem! I got all mad at the shelter at FIRST because i thought they might of lied to me and my family about that she was potty trained??? But then i figured out she was potty trained its just that she was marking her traitor around the house to get used to the new environment. We also still have some problems here and there but not like they were. Your puppy might have the same reason of going potty around the house as mine dose. But in case i would buy like a little pad called a "Wee Wee Pad" for dogs to get potty trained on or just to show that that's were to go in case of an emergency.

She could a UTI, only a vet can diagnose that problem. In the meantime, try to contact the foster mom and speak with her. Find out what the dog's routine was and try to resemble that in your routine. Respect has nothing to do with peeing in the house. Could there be areas that have old urine stains she's smelling and marking?

She is probably just agusting to the new environment and marking her territory. If the dog pees just once in the house, then the dog will continue to do it in the same area. Make sure that when you clean the urine, that you disinfect it and take away all traces of the urine. Pepper also helps to stop dogs doing it because it has a horrible smell to dogs and it makes them sneeze. Good Luck!

Is she peeing or leaking? When my dog was a year old she just started to leak everywhere. When she would sleep she would leak pee and not even know it. It went away and the vet never knew what it was. If this is the case take her to the vet.

I am no expert but i think that the new dog might smell your old dogs and pee to claim the teritory.

she could have an UTI or she could be "marking " her spot. Have you had other dogs in your house in the past that she would smell their scents. I would take her to the Vet and get he checked out.
