I can understand a puppy could and would eat bird but two? where was the owner? However it is difficult to keep pets that do not get along. I hope you have learnt from this experience. However keep training the pup that this is not acceptable behaviour and as his master you will not tolerate such a performance;also good idea to keep the birds in a dog proof aviary......ofcourse will not harm the dog good food as far as dogs are concerned however not good for the birds !!!!!!!!

It’s probably not going to fit into any definitions of healthy, but it shouldn’t be to bad for the dog. In the wild the dog would be eating birds and stuff.

My dog ate a few mice a while ago, and she was fine.

ok, first element, those human beings do no longer understand what they're talking approximately, i'll college, coaching to be a vet and my canine at present had puppies as properly, I even helped her supply delivery! If there is a few thing incorrect with the puppy, you're able to desire to get it removed from the mum to take it to the vet, 2 kennels, one for mom, one for puppy, and be helpful to apply a number of blankets and towels to maintain domestic dog heat. on account that your canine IS somewhat on the older facet, the 1st element you're able to desire to do is verify and make helpful she continues to be lactating, merely roll her over on her returned and gently squeeze certainly one of her teets. If she isn't lactating then you definately've a topic, yo could desire to circulate purchase domestic dog formulation and create man made milk and bottle feed him. If she continues to be lactating and the domestic dog merely wont consume you are able to attempt bodily squeezing slightly milk out and bodily putting infant on the breast, if it nonetheless refuses to consume, a vet may be the terrific element. additionally be helpful to positioned on sterile, latex gloves each and every time you touch mommy's nipples or infant. wish this helps!

Sure is harmful to the birds. I'd be checking the pup's poo to make sure all comes out well. He probably will be very thirsty because of all the feathers, too.
