the best way is to ask a vet.

pregnant b*tches tend to lick themselves frequently (even if they're not in heat). notice also if she'd had her period, or some bleeding associated with being in heat. her stomach area should also enlarge (you could also feel the sides of her body and look for lumps. these are the pups). her nipples may seem to be bigger also. her appetite should increase,and she would need lots of liquids.

remember that the gestation period for all dogs is approximately 60 days.

Pretty much the only way to tell anything for sure is the vet. They have several ways that they can test for the pregnancy. As for it being your neighbor's dog, if they don't want to know then you will just have to wait and see in about 8-10 weeks.

Take her to the Vet! That is the best way. That way they can walk you through everything that you need to do to get her ready to have the pups.

ultar sound is the only way you can tell the female is pg. in till she is about 5 to 6 weeks along. if you are worried take her to your vet
