He is a year old. I walk him, play fetch with him, feed him, take him out to pee, play with him, give him chew toys, and yet he always get this stubborn attitude and will cry at me for hours. When I try to ignore him ( like the dog whisper says to do) he just crys louder. What can I do to make him stop?

our jack russell is 7 months old.
She poos then carrys it to her bed or breaks it up onto the floor.
Trained her to sit when she was four months old but will only sit when she wants to.
Charges past to get through doorways first.
If we drop something of ours she steals it and hids it in her mouth and barks at us to get our attention.Im at my wits end.Its like shes trained in doors but only when she wants to do it which is rare and walking her is terrible she pulls excessivly on her lead, jumps up up people passing chews glass any object on the floor and wont eat unless my husband pretends to eat it strange i know but has anyone got any advice as i am seriously thinking of finding her a new home.Cant afford behaviour classes.

My daughter bought an albino claw frog at Wal-Mart. The associate told us that any retile food would do fine. However, this frog has eaten the reptile food in two days. Is there a specific food for these frogs? If so what?

My family went to see two litters of 4-week old Bischons today. As a group, the males seemed more active and inquisitive and the females more passive/timid. Is this typical? Does it pass?

I first noticed it when she was about 6 months old. Then I noticed it in both eyes. At first you can only notice it at night. It is harder to notice during the day. It disappears and then re-appears. It seems to take different shapes. The thing is when I try to take her to the vet the clear film isn't there. It's still there two years later.

What is it and what should I do?

Later this month, my friends and I are throwing a party for our dogs. They haven't been together for a year, and we'd like to celebrate! We're going to be throwing it at the animal shelter, and it's a very big room. I need ideas for a cake, presents, and a theme. Will you help me?

She is 8 months old. I have tried bringing her out when my other dog goes. I have tried the crate method. Nothing works. At this point I am just happy if she goes on the wee-wee pads. Help!

I have 2 cats raised by my Border Collie/Lab mix. My cats are now 12 and the dog went to the Rainbow Bridge a long time ago, but I have the best cats. I own a dog day care and training center and have used my cats to evaluate kitty aggression in some dogs. I love my kitty boys, Morsel and Tidbit.

2 weeks ago we adopted a two year old collie from a rescue home. He's a lovely lively chap, but he seems to have it in for our cat and chases her at every opportunity. We felt confident that they'd sort out their differences, but it doesn't seem to be happening. The cat loves dogs (has lived with them all her life), but she can't stand our new boy, although she stands her ground as best she can. Can anyone help!

We recently had a 19-month-old Coton de Tulear ("Caesar") come to stay with us for a few hours because he is for sale and we're thinking of getting a dog. Our dog died last summer and we've been torn up without him. Anyway, Caesar was over and was enthusiastic to meet us. He was friendly, funny, went on walks nicely, met other dogs with no problems...however, he is high-energy most of the time, whereas our last dog was very low-energy. His current owners are giving him up due to having a new baby, plus doing construction on their house and can't give Caesar attention, so now when he's around us he just wants to run all over the house ALL THE TIME. The other big problem is that he humps our legs a lot. Our last dog didn't have this problem, so we don't know how to deal with this. Caesar doesn't seem aggressive or dominant and has been neutered already, so how can we get him to stop humping us? We don't want to be embarrassed if we have company over! Should we get this dog?
