7 days a week you will need to clean the stall. Maybe rethink getting a horse if you are asking this type of question. Please do not go into this purchase without prior knowledge, as you will be ruining a life (that of the horses).

Well, first of all, your horse shouldn't be in a stall 24 hours a day. It should only be in during bad weather or at night, but that's your call. How would you feel if you were locked in a stall all day and never got to go out and play? Anyway, it should be picked out every day. A horse should be fed twice a day so it would only make sense to pick it out twice a day after you feed. If you keep it up and really do pick it out that often it should only take about 5 minutes, making it much easier in the long run, rather than taking hours to clean it once a week. Also. make sure you replenish the bedding every 2-4 weeks. I hope this helps, good luck!

The stalls need to be cleaned daily. Manure is the most obvious problem, but not the most dangerous. The urine will need to be cleaned out daily as well to prevent the ammonia levels from getting too high and causing respiratory problems for your horse. As for how often to do a complete bedding change it depends on the floor of the stall. If it concrete or something solid like that, nothing can be absorbed by it, so it's all in the bedding. Your bedding will not last as long this way, but the stall will be cleaner. On dirt floors, your bedding will last longer, but will be come very soiled in a very short time. On dirt floors every 2 weeks maximum. On concrete, every month maximum. Let me know if you have further questions.

Depends on how many times a week the horse is in his stall.
Horses are happiest (and also less work) when they are outside. A dry, healthy horse can stand very cold weather as long as he has some sort of shelter like a run-in shed.

If you horse is only in his stall for 1/2 the day, then you only need to muck it once a day.
If he is in his stall all day it should probably be mucked out twice a day.

OK there's a couple of choices here. one u can scoop out the poo daily like u would for a cat box and completely change it every week. that is good for a really messy horse. or another chose is like 3 times a week. but it be easier for the first choice. but the 2nd one is good if ur horse is pretty clean. and if they r outside a fair amount they wont have as much of a messy stall. make sure u keep the horses on a good diet and on a good routine. they get use to being fed at certain times.

Stalls need to be mucked at least once per day, which means removing all manure and wet spots in the bedding. Horses are prone to a fungal infection in the hoofs called thrush and standing for extended periods of time in wet, soiled bedding is a primary cause of the infection. You also must make sure that the horse's feet are picked every day if you are keeping him stalled.

It depends how long he is going to be in it everyday. Every morning or afternoon go out and check his stall for poo. If there is some clean it up. Also check for hard lumps where it might have peed. You also need to refresh the entire stall about 2 times a week. Take you all of the filling and replace it. It should make your pet nice and happy!

7 to 21 times a week. You wouldn't want to stand in YOUR own **** all day either, would you? You clean the stall for the exact same reasons. It keeps down dust and ammonia, both of which create respiratory problems, as well as keeping away insects. If your horse has a LARGE turnout area that is avaiable to him at all times, then you can cut it down to once a day cleaning.

Everyone I know cleans up after their horses twice a day. On average, a horse will have 14 bowel movements every 24 hours. Then, of course, is the urine issue. You need to spot-clean up the urine soaked bedding each time, too. We usually went through at least one bale of shavings, per horse, per week.
Your horse's hooves also should be cleaned daily to prevent thrush.
You really need to read up on horse care long before you're ready to get a horse. They are a lot of work, are VERY expensive to buy, maintain, feed, and shoe.
