Later this month, my friends and I are throwing a party for our dogs. They haven't been together for a year, and we'd like to celebrate! We're going to be throwing it at the animal shelter, and it's a very big room. I need ideas for a cake, presents, and a theme. Will you help me?

There's a doggy bakery called Three Dog Bakery, it's a chain. They'll bake you a cake for the party. Regarding a theme . . . how about "the dog-gone fun" get together/reunion?

Presents . . . you can never go wrong with marrow bones. Everything else I'd get at three dog bakery.

Have fun! Wish I could be there!

Love, Chloe & Emma (10 year old pugs).

Cake- You can get that liver paste stuff that you put in those rubbery red dog toys and put two bone shaped dog biscuits together with the paste in the middle and "ice" them with the paste for a dog version of cupcakes!
Presents- This part's easy! Dog toys, Rawhide bones(my dog adores these!), dog beds, and if they're short-haired doggie coats for the winter!
Theme- No cats Allowed! Goin' 2 Da' Dogs! Puppy Luv! Bones! Dog Biscuits! Just Plain Everything All Out Dogs!

Hope this helped! From one doglover 2 another!

My dogs knows my sons name. I ask her to find Oskar and she runs to him. It's probably because he's only a toddler and I'm constantly saying his name, and were at home most of the day so she's hearing me call his name a lot :)

Great idea. But maybe you should let the dogs meet beforehand, get reacquainted. You don't want to spend the whole party restraining the guests of honor.

Maybe you could get all the dogs matching neckerchiefs.

cake: get some doggy ice cream and shape it into a bone, then cover with dog biscuit crumbs and write pet's name in icing

presents: for the two dogs get a pair of bandanas or collars that are kinda like best friend necklaces or something

theme: monkeys or cowboys
