We have three boxers, two males and a female. They have lived in a combined household for a year, and the males always do their "gnawing" at each other (basically, both having their mouths open and half-growling at each other, with no harm to either one.) Yesterday I came home to a blood bath throughout the house (no kidding, it looked like someone slaughtered a cow.) No one was home, so I'm not sure what sparked the fight, but they were both seriously injured, one being torn up much worse than the other. I'm not sure what happened, they've had their scratches before but nothing to this extreme. Any ideas of what to do with them while we aren't at home??? We can't kennel them (one has become "cage aggressive" due to this and the other one breaks out of EVERY kennel we've tried) and when we seperate them within the house they end up scratching and breaking through doors to get to the other one. Any one have any alternative ideas??? Thanks in advance!

My little dog passed away the morning after Christmas due to kidney failure. Needless to say I am completely heartbroken. While I know that no other dog will ever replace him, I am wondering if getting a new puppy will help with the grieving process. I would love some input from people who have dealt with similar losses. Thanks.

I had a canvas type couch that my precious little kitties (innocent looking gismo looking gremlins) shredded.

Is it true that cats do not claw through microfiber furniture? Anyone with experience? Thanks

In my opinion it is just another get rich quick scheme in effort to devalue the American Championship name for people with dogs who have actually earned the right to their REAL American Championship. BYB will be capitalizing on this one! :0(( I think it would be a better idea if they called it the "Pet Champion Club" and in order to achieve the title the animal must be spayed/neutered with proof sent into the club. Otherwise you have the public duped into believing that any breeder can be working/breeding with Champion stock dogs!

I have a 3 month old Shih Tzu Poodle mix, she's the cutest thing ever and very sweet. But everyonce in a while its like she goes psycho mode and does this mean biting thing. Its when she gets a piece of paper or toilet paper in her mouth and you go to get it out. She gets vicious. Its hard to get your hands around her mouth to close it and tell her no. I dont want to end up with a mean dog so I want to nip this in the bud now. Whats your advice? Thanks so much.

My cat is about 2 years old, and used to be so gorgeous and hyper and all over the place. Since I got her fixed, she lays around and just eats, all day long. I had her on a diet until I moved in with my current roommate. I was feeding her one cup a day and she was doing well, loosing weight. But now my roommate's cats are 13 and 14 years old, and they're underweight. I can not find a way to limit her eating, and I can't put her on a weight control formula because of the other cats. Any ideas?

Shy of getting rid of the nearly new couch, I need to know if anyone out there knows of a good cleaning solution that I can do myself to clean and eliminate the DOG SMELL on my couch. It is driving e nuts. The couch was given to me by a family member and it came with the smell. Is my only solution spending an arm and leg having it prof. cleaned?

I have a one year old cat who I've raised since I found her and her brothers and sisters floating in the river out back. I kept her as my own. She is rather friendly and loves to be around other cats but dislikes humans. She became extreamly attached to me, and only me. I had to put down my old tabby-cat, who was about twenty-three (Same age as I) just a week ago. Since then, my cat seems to crave more attention than ever! As much as I love her, she becomes bothersome at times. And I was wondering, if I were to adopt another cat, would this help? She is very sociable with other cats and I don't believe she'd have a problem. But I only wish to bring another cat into my house if it'll stop her from constantly bugging me and wanting attention.
