That's too bad. There's nothing a dog loves more than sticking their head out the window of a moving vehicle.
Check into flying her then.

If you are going to travel with her at all you will need to check with your vet. She will need to have health papers that says she is current on shots, has no internal or external parasites (fleas or worms), and is healthy enough to travel. If you chose to drive her you will need to find out any requirements that each state she travels through has (even if you arent stopping because you never know when some one will ask about papers) and make sure she meets those requirements. If you fly her you will need to check every airport she travels through to get their requirements for pets. If you have all the requirements when you go to the vet that will make it easier, and call and make an appointment so the vets can start filling out the paperwork as much as they can in advance because the paperwork takes a while. Hoope this gives you an idea. Good luck

You can fly her but it may be tough this time of year. Some airlines will not take pets if it is too cold or too hot out as the cargo compartment temp are nto controlled. I would call the airlines and talk to them. Or find someone or a service to drive her there after you get there.

Check with airlines. I have shipped dogs before years ago. Some boarding kennel or friend can help by dropping off dog after you arrive in Minny. Check with vet also. Might need some doggy downers.

flying is extremely stressful to animals. i'm not sure about trains i've never traveled by train. i plan to drive from the east coast( which is where i live) to California by car with my pets when i move. are you sure you don't want to drive? you'd also get to see part of this country that you have not seen, it could be fun. ibeboatin and calivbmnk have excellent advise also.

There are services out there that will do it for you. It's just a little expensive if you ask me. One such service is linked to below.
