He is a little long haired chihuahua and is 10 weeks old. He bites and chews anything and everything he sees. I do have puppy toys and bones but he still likes to chew rugs, furniture, kids toys, etc. I know this is normal puppy behavior, but I have heard it is a bad habit that you don't want them to continue.

Hi,
I have a male tabby 10 years old who has had problems urinating. I have taken him to the vet twice now and there are no crystals, no blockages, no stones, no bacteria or infection. The last time I took him, we left with no treatments... and I just saw him straining to go again (been a week since I have taken him). I have read through all of the information I can find on this, and am not coming up with much. Since he doesn't have the crystals or stones, changing his diet I guess won't help much... are there any home remedies that can help him? I know people with this problem can drink cranberry juice every day, etc. is there anything like this for cats? It makes me sad to see him straining like he is and I'm thinking that it must hurt or feel uncomfortable. It seems like there aren't any options though at this point, unless I am missing something. Can someone help?

I know you can have a horse registered as 2 breeds, but what about dogs? I know of a guy who has a Bichon Maltese cross and he says he can get registration papers if he wants. I don't think the papers he can get would be AKC, CKC or UKC because his dog is a mixed breed. Or is this just another gimmik from a backyard breeder trying to sell his pups for more. BTW it'll cost $1000 for the papers if wants them.

There are so many different horse trainers I've heard say that if you imprint your foal at Day 1, he will be used to grooming, tacking, clipping, etc and will be generally easier to handle. Others say imprinting will ruin the colt, and to let a horse grow up naturally.

My mom imprinted her mustang/appaloosa filly at Day 1. We can now lead her with ease, groom her, and bathe her at seven months old. On the other hand, a friend of ours imprinted a filly at Day 1, and she runs over you during leading, won't groom (fly spray & picking up hooves), and certainly won't clip. She's even kicked out at her owner more than once. My personal opinion is that imprinting doesn't do much to the foal, and that you should spend that time for bonding. The way you handle them and their personality will determine how they grow up to be (our friend is very timid) but thats just from my experience

What are your opinions on imprinting?

I just noticed today that my pup, she's almost a year old, has thick yellow pee, and bloody urine. I will be making a vet appointment tomorrow, it's sunday now and they are not open. I am assuming this is a bladder infection, anyone have any feedback about this. I am worried.

Can I ask for them at petco or petsmart? Or will I have to try a smaller pet store? Thanks! :)

so was just wondering if anyone have had any experience of these systems and wheather they should be used or avoided
thanks

I'm pretty sure she's mated and will have a baby but recently I found these changes:

Her poop has turned into pee? (liquid)
She closes her eyes often like she's tired.
She fluffes up more often.
1 of my 4 males often stays by her and feeds her seeds and guards her.
He put his foot on her back but she moved away.
Her chrip is a high-pitched noise still much like common sparrows.

Is she pregant or sick? We just bought them a nesting home for $18.00...

If a puppy is not purchased at a pet store, what happens to them? Where do they go? Does anyone have any sort of documentation on what goes on when the puppy gets too old?
