Cats do have impact on humans. Its not only cats, but what ever pets we have, they do have some impact on us. Cats need us when they are hungry and only when they need our companion particularly when they need a warm place to sleep. When we have a bitter experience out side or some thing devastating has happened in our life and we are in the home,we feel good if we see a cat playing with a ball. And if there are going to two kittens ,then all our sorrows will fly off from our heart. They are the cute animals. The general tendency of humans is that every human likes a living thing which looks very beautiful,at the same time not caring for anything ,at the same time having pride in the look. and that is what makes cats feel their presence in every human who has a liking for cats.People often like others those who are cute and small and those who do not response to them.Cats are similar too.I love my cats.

Cats live with humans indoor easily. Thay are very good company. Though they cannot be trained like dogs, monkeys etc, to perform jumps etc, they can be easily trained to eat only from their bowl and excrete only in the place provided.
This is enough for people of all ages to live with cats.
As I have seen, cats are never a problem to the owners. Once they find a home, they never leave. They are clean animals by nature. They cover their dirt. We need not bathe them.
In India, if we have to go out of station, we just leave the cat outside and go. It somehow manages to live on neighbor's pity, or eating junk, rats if they are around or sparrows. When we come back it comes back to us. They are very loving and like to be loved. We usually find them sleeping on our bed when we get up in the morning! Oh ! So sweet! Meeonw!

All the cats I have ever owned in my life have had an impact on me. One in particular was a special case. He was a rescue that turned out to be bi-polar. He was very sweet to me, thought of me as mommy, but didn't like anyone else, except for my other cat. I had him for five years before the medication stopped working and he got out of control. I had to put him to sleep and I feel his next life will go much beter for him. It broke my heart to see him go, as all my cats have. They love me, relax me, talk to me. They are there when I need them. They provide comfort and attention when I need it the most (3am after a bad breakup for example).

Cats actually have no impact at all on humans. They're a good companion at times, but they have no absolute feelings toward us. Dogs do, but cats don't, studies say. I study them myself, so if you're looking for something that might actually care for you, get a dog. :P Cats are cool too though, I guess. But have you ever heard of a cat that helps blind people???

They are great companions and low maintanance. You can hold them when you want to, and then just leave them alone for the rest of the day. They do not bother or complain. Just keep them well fed and keep the litter box clean. That is all they ask of us. If I had to choose between cat litter and cat food or groceries, I will choose the cats over me any time. They are just that great.

If your girlfriend/ wife like cats then no need to search a gift on her B'day. Just gift her a cat. And the best thing is you can keep on doing so years over years :-)

I think pets fulfill the suppressed unconscious need to dominate and control others. When this need is not fulfilled in the normal life with other persons around, a person opts for some poor dumb animal for this purpose.

cats are not as attached as dogs, of course humans are attached to both in same amount, but cats forget things very soon, unlike dogs.Cats should be let to go around everywhere and come back whenever they want, they sort of come only to drink milk, sleep and give birth to kitts.they aren't very intelligent unlike dogs.

cat's fur is harmful and may cause Asthma .It is not very healthy to have cat at home as theycannot be tied and will shed the hair anywhere and can be a nuisance.
