This is somre information to help to clarify some answers to the my questions about coyotes. First of all I have three big dogs one rottweiler, an akita, and a great pryenees, the three of them combine they a little bit more than 400lbs.As to wether coyotes attack humans, There have been documented reports of them attacking humans one of the reports came from Lake Tahoe where an coyote had a small child it's mouth, incase some of you all are wondering Lake Tahoe is having a growing population with coyotes rising, but they have even been spotted in outskirt cities of Los Angeles. So as to the myth they never attack humans well that to me is not true cause during their mating season they are especially more aggressive. i am asking these questions cause I have to give an opened oral report on coyotes in at class. So the subject stating unless you have a kick *** pitbull or rottweiler or somthing like that. Well please try to understand my questions and try to come up with a better answer

My daughters hooded goldfish has a very red belly - just started this morning. Is it sick? pregnant? It has always been a little funny acting - likes to sleep on it's back by the filter. Is it sick or is this normal?

My black lab/chow dog is about 10 years old, and yesterday I noticed him shaking all over, it is not cold outside or anything either. And now he is laying around all day, and when he does get up, he limps, and whines, and wants to come inside, which he usually hates. what could be wrong with him?

I get just as pissed about the BYB as the next person. But when someone already has a litter of pups on their hands, why do the poeple who try to help them care for the pups get a thumbs down from so many?

I mean, yeah, spay the dog. We're all going to lay in about that. But the fact is, the puppies already exist! Why give someone a bad rating just because they're trying to help? Would you rather NO ONE give these morons any info on caring for the pups?

Surprise! another oscar question from me, i just want as much imformation as possible. Does anyone have any tips on how to decorate an oscar tank? Please don't just copy stuff from websites, I am able to recognize it. I was wondering good ways to decorate their tank, like gravel compared to sand, is it better to put a large item in the middle rather than rocks on the sides of the tank ect. I saw a small one at a petsmart, and until i am getting a larger tank, he will go into a 29 gallon, please give me awnsers or stories to any oscar you have had. Anything you have beside tanksizes, i know all about them.

I recently read that boder collies are extremely intelligent.

Do you think there is a possibility that they could be more intelligent than some severly retarded humans?

I am writing a paper for my 8th grade biology class. Thank you.

We got him at a bird seller's exhibition. Stupidly I forgot to ask the lady what he's used to, and he's only eaten one plume of millet and not his Kaytee Fiesta blend for parakeets! With the millet gone now, if he doesn't eat regular seed in a couple of days, should I be worried?

If I put all of the fish in at the same time (3-4 gouramis, 1 betta) to prevent the fish from being too territorial and if they "grow up" together and I provide lots of hiding places for the fish, do you think gouramis and bettas will do well together? In my opinion, gouramis don't have long fins... and aren't usually very colorful (with some exceptions.) Has anyone ever kept those two together successfully? Can they live together?

And for those of you who are beginners and think that bettas can't be placed with ANY other fish, you're wrong. Bettas get along well with most fish that don't have long fins and aren't too colorful.

Help me?

Thanx

I have done a lot with him and I show him non stop affection. The only time he is alone is when we are at work, then when we get home he is running, playing, I give him tons for treats for his good behavior. he sleeps with me every night. Maybe he is angry or annoyed when I leave him alone? he is so big and heavy now. I am the one who trained him, he listens well except when he gets into these tantrums...

The reason why I had ask the question was cause I am concerned, plus where I live we have kind of a problem with coyotes in the area, and the same goes for black bears, besides that the only time I let my dogs outside unattended but there is always an adult present. Plus one my neighbors had lost her dog and she had a pretty big dog, I don't know if it was due to coyotes but there have been actual reports of them coming even to area where people live. We use to not have that much of a problem with coyotes but it cause what we do and don't really think about it. The question is more likely would a coyote that has lost its fear of humans attack or get one of my dogs alone. When i take my dogs out on walks I never go alone.

We have three cats, they share a food dish that is filled every morning. Two cats are perfectly fine but one is getting fat. It doesn't seem like he eats more than the others, but he must be. Any ideas how to get one cat to diet and not the other two. Their food sits out all day for them to eat whenever they want.
