Most worm infestations cause any or all of these symptoms: diarrhea, perhaps with blood in the stool; weight loss; dry hair; general poor appearance; and vomiting, perhaps with worms in the vomitus. Dogs are victims of several internal parasites frequently referred to as worms. The most common are the roundworms that infest most puppies at some time in their young lives and tapeworms that can be a big problem when flea infestations are high.

Evidence of roundworms and tapeworms can be seen without the aid of a microscope, but other worms are not so easily diagnosed. Occasionally adult whipworms can be seen in the stool when the infestation has already caused some debilitation or weight loss in the dog.

Early diagnosis of the presence and species of intestinal parasite is important, for not all worms respond to the same treatment. Therefore, stool samples should be taken to the veterinarian for microscopic examination if worms are suspected.

Take your dog to the vet. Even if its not a puppy it can be parvo. If you cant afford to go to the vet, call one, tell them her symptoms and see what they think. If its parvo, buy pedialyte and pepto. Then start giving it to your dog. Do not try to feed her when you do this. She will just throw everything up. Ask your vet how much your dog should receive of pepto and pedialyte.

She could have gotten a hold of some thing that is causing this. Get her into your vet or emergency pet hospital . If she ate the wrong food she could have toxin poisoning.

I cannot help you other than you to recommend that you see a vet if the problems continue or if there is any blood in the stool. This is a generalized problem with dozens of possible diagnoses.

Is she a puppy? If so, it could be a serious illness, Parvo. Throwing up and pooping alot can quickly become serious in dogs because it dehydrates them quickly. You need to get her to a vet.
