He sneezes really fast, around 2-5 times in a row. He doesn't have watery eyes and his nose doesn't run. Could he have allergies?

I recently started giving my cat vaseline to help with his furballs. He now craves it and cries for it. Is this normal behavior? How much is too much to give him?

She's a 7 month old springer spaniel, currently in heat. Her eye was fine before last night, when we suddenly noticed it. We don't know if she hurt her eye, or has an infection. Are there any ideas on what this could be, and what we can do for her? We'll be taking her to the vet later today if it doesn't improve soon. Thanks!

I just bought two, wonderful, cute, persian kittens. One is called Shadow, which is greyish black, and another called Yuffie, which is orange like garfield. They are both 2 months old, make and female. I want them to get used to thier names so that when i call them they come to me, how do I do it? Shadow is starting to get used to it a bit, but not Yuffie.

I thought they would be the perfect alternative to the bearskin or sheepskin rug, for small areas. For example, you could put a cat skin rug outside the shower, in front of your bathroom sink, all kinds of places where you couldn't put a bearskin, and they're so warm and soft in winter, especially the Persians. But, I haven't sold a single one yet. Is there some marketing trick I don't know about?

This is a fun question for Cat Lovers everywhere!

I have a theory that all Cats are Murphys.
Can you think of an instance when your cat follows a similar theme?
Example: They always arrive at the door 2 minutes after you shut it. No matter how long you stand there calling!

My cat (Basil, male, 1 year old) is a lovely, playful guy. He stalks me around the flat, loves knocking glasses full of water over, seems to enjoy my company (sits in the same room with me) but he won't sit on my lap in the livingroom.

I know I'm just being selfish, and I've a sneaky suspicion that if I stopped wanting him to it'd be the only place he ever wants to be. But yeah - there you go.

Is there hope? Will he start when he's older? He'll sit on my lap when I'm on the toilet (bizarre but true) for some reason, and really likes it. For example, if I go into the toilet he comes running from the living room (where we've been sitting seperately) and jumps onto my knee for a snooze. Is this normal or has he an unhealthy interest in my toiletting?

Mad cat.

Mimi the cat in Brazil has been mating with a local stray dog and has given birth to 3 cat like kittens which died and 3 puppy like kittens which so far are doing fine. Which would you prefer as a pet and what should they be called: Cogs, Dats, Cags, Dots or other suggestions?
