I have a male and a female who have been hip checked and all of the other tests and I have asked my vet and she doesn't know why but my female comes into heat and she will never let the male around her help me please. We just want a litter for our kids we love dogs and have 6 kids and they will all be loved so no backyard breeder here, I plan on getting them fixed after they have 1 litter. Any info would be appreciated!

I have 2 american pitbull terriers and one heinz 57.
I rescued Liberty from the street, Roman from a pitbull rescue, and the heinz 57 was a foster puppy that I wound up adopting.

I have had my puppy now for just over 4 weeks, but she continues to cry to an extent were she starts barking. I put her to bed around 10pm, turn all the lights off and she sleeps in a puppy pen in the kitchen, she does not cry all through the night except when it hits around 6am then she whines from the top of her lungs and barks - any advice, i have a little boy too and he keeps getting woken up to it. I don't know if she does this because i keep getting up to quieten her because i don't want her to wake my son up. I don't think she is lonely because we play with her all through the day and i have another dog that keeps her company when i am not home just a night my other dog sleeps outside.

I have a small dog who is trained very well. She is wonderful with all different types of people and has a ton of tricks she knows that make everyone smile and laugh. I want to bring her to retirement homes.

Does she have to be certified as a therapy dog? If she does, how does one go about doing that?

I have an 80lb 10 month old Sharpei/St. Bernard Mix. He is wonderfully obedient with me and he listens well to me. I have a problem with him, whenever someone walks past him in the alley he acts like he is going to attack them. Even cars. If I am outside and I see this, i immediately yell No to him and he stops and trots back toward me. When I took him to the vet, I muzzled him, and he attempted to bite the vet when she put his rabies tag on his collar. He seems fearful of strangers, yet is overly aggressive. If I bring him in the house and someone is already there, he is fine, but if he is in the house first he acts aggressive and scared. (He hides behind me and barks). I am moving my children back with me and need to really curb this behavior. I have introduced them to him with the muzzle and he was fine. I like this dog, but love my kids more. Can he be trained out of this behavior?

I would like to study to become a reptile vet. There arent any schools that allow me to get my dvm near me. There is one however that will allow me to study to become a Veterinary assistant or Veterinary tech. Do i have to be an assistant before i can become a vet? And how do i go about specializing in reptiles?
