NO!! Do NOT put them together. Their feeding and care is different, and the size difference will be way to big.

Iguanas can be around them temporarily. i definitely don't recommend housing them together unless you have some type of room sized enclosure. The reason I say this is because iguanas are territorial and your chameleon might become seriously injured. maybe not at first, but when the iguana gets a wild hair, it could be fatal for the chameleon. If you have a large enough enclosure, then yeah, go for it, just make sure the chameleon has plenty of things to climb on and can stay away from the iguana if he feels like it.

Not a good idea to put them in together. Iguanas and chameleons will not try to kill each other for food, but they have different environmental needs. An adult iguana is also a lot bigger than a chameleon, and they can be bad tempered, so they might well damage the chameleons.

I just adore iggies. I have to agree with what everyone is telling you though, those little chameleons..not sure if you are speaking of true chameleons or anoles, but either way, their needs are not the same and iggies get pretty big, pretty fast and you will want a large enclosure for it. Maybe if you did that part soon, and got another iggie the same size and they were both put into the new enclosure at the same time, you might be able to have two iggies with no problems, but its better to know if you have a male and female, than risk to of the same sex, cause one or both may be so territorial, they will still fight. Make sure you give your iggie lots and lots of variety in its diet so it will always be a good eater. Lots of calcium! Mine loved velvetta cheese, scrambled eggs, mac and cheese, cottage cheese, and during the summer months he ate lots of dandelion flowers and leaves along with red leaf lettuce and I bought mixed veggies and would thaw a small amount each day to mix in his food. most people lose their iggies cause of lack of calcium. Also melons pieces, grapes...try everything, except junk food!

You couldn't keep chameleons, plural, in a single cage let alone with an iguana. They require two different habitats. You'll have enough trouble with the iguana as it is...adding chameleons would be foolish.

I owned an iguana once till now. i'd not recommend letting it roam loose. they ought to have a number of warmth and basking parts. you'll not be able to get your position to the right temperature. and they could incredibly be damage through the different animals. or you would no longer see it and step on it on twist of destiny. there are a number of issues that could want to bypass incorrect. and they are not this form of puppy that you'll potty practice or some thing so that's going to easily potty the position ever it sounds like it. I strongly recommend that you shop it in a tank. or you could construct your man or woman cage for it. Use %pipe and cord mesh. That way it may climb and performance a number of room to roam round in. basically ensure you supply it one cool aspect and one warmth and a shelf to bask on.

generally this would not be a good idea. chameleons are very peaceful and do not adapt to types of stress very well their environment needs to be very controlled , with the iguanas they do get very protective of their environment and use their tails as defense ,chameleons don't really have a form of defense. the diets of the two are also very different, chameleons are more on the carnivorous side and iggies are vegetarians

No never!!!! They have totally different requirements. Food, environment etc. I have two iggis thatlive together fine but never mix different reptiles.
I'm kind of saddened by how many people own exotic pets and know nothing about them. is it a fashion statement, trying to be cool? In my opinion that is the same as animal abuse. No one should get a pet before they know all they can about it....
this is not meant as a personal attack on you just a general thing I noticed.

check with the pet store you bought the iguana at, they will give you the best advice, but if the iguana is very young i don,t think he will do any harm as they grow up with each other.
