i am really worried about her, it is really hard and red and looks misshaped, what could it be, will it effect how the puppies eat

u need a vet if u cant maussage her teet to open milk duct,u can use a good amount of pressure she will let u know if your squeezing too hard look out tho when it opens up it will pop like a BIG zit dont be suprised if yhere is blood then some porxide on teet it will not hurt puppies if they injest a bit .u may have to do this a couple times a day to clear it up good luck

FIrst, a pup isn't going to be able to get her mouth around a nipple that size but if they do allow them to nurse to bring down the milk, open a duct and alleviate the engorged milk. You can try to put warm not hot compress on the engorged nipple until you can get her to a vet and you should; continue to allow the pups to nurse off the other nipples but get her checked asap to avoid problems and the pain associated with this .

This is mastitis. It will not affect the puppies but it needs to be treated by a vet ASAP. This condition is very painful for your b1tch and will make her very ill if it's not sorted. You should try to supervise her as much as possible until you can get treatment, because if one of the puppies hurts her by trying to suck from the affected nipple then she could bite it or kill it in pain.

See if you can squeeze it without hurting her ( do it gently, you shouldn't have to do it too hard)and see if there is any milk in it, if so put one of the pups on there to feed. This could be a build up of excess milk that may need to be released. If it continues to stay enlarged and is too painful for you to squeeze or the pups to feed i would get her to a vet asap. In the meantime try putting some cold compresses on it to settle it down.

Call your vet! Most vets have answering services just like your doctors office, and they'll be able to tell you what to do now. They may tell you what to do until they can see her, but at least you'll be doing something for the poor thing in the meantime.

she my have milk fever I would take her to the vet asap!! or at least call them and ask them what you could do for her untill they can see her,,, Also what kind of puppies are they cause im looking for a puppy for my mom you can email me at hunterdog_34@yahoo.com and we can talk about this

GET HER TO THE VET ASAP her nipple is obviously clogged and it has got to b painful and it may even b dangerous to her.

Shes really in alot of pain. This happened to me when I was breast feeding. Please!!! Call your vet ASAP.
