When my cat had a litter of kittens we had to give them all away. I ended up giving one to my best friend and the same thing happened to her. What she did was give it a furry stuffed animal. It worked!! It sleeps with it every night, and plays with it during the day. Try it!! (No guarantees, just a tip) Otherwise, you should try to bring it inside. They love being indoors. I should know I have seven of them.:)

Why did you give the mother away instead of taking her to be spayed? And why are you keeping the poor kitten outside by himself? No wonder he cries.Animals aren't disposable.I can't believe everyone is saying "Get another kitten".You showed by getting rid of the mother that you do not have much respect for the lives of your animals.I suppose you will not get this cat fixed either. The best thing you can do for this cat is to find it a"FOREVER" home where it can live indoors and where it will be neutered and not given away when it becomes an inconvenience.

If the clutter container is roofed, she might want to be attempting to get privateness. hide the container you've them in, in basic terms placed a towel over it and go away a niche for ventilation and so as that the mother cat can get in and out. Or get a 2d clutter container and set one up with towels to be one of those den for them. you'd be desiring that 2d container even as the kittens are waiting for clutter preparation!
