I just got a kitten who is only about 5 weeks old. He is adorable and i take very good care of him. He is very social, yet he often likes to kind of scratch and bite, not in an agressive way, but more in a playful manner. I am concerned that this could continue into adulthood. Will it? Also, is there any way that i could make sure that he does not become agressive in the future? Thanks for any help.

We just got a small (8 in.) Pueblan Milk, and in the past 2 days she's gotten a very loose appearance to her skin. When she's curled or bent (not laying out straight) her skin looks wrinkly, like she has veins running down from her back to her belly. I'm not sure when she's going to shed next, and we tried feeding her last Friday night, wasn't interested in a pinkie mouse. Any ideas? Temp is 70-80F, water/soaking dish provided, aspen substrate and ample hiding/burrowing spaces, UV bulb being used.

Hi, this may be a strange question but I am hoping for opinions.

I have three cats already, and I found two more stray cats hanging around my property. After caring for them for months, there finally was room at the local no-kill humane society and I had to take them in because I can't care for 5 cats.

My question is, I have some bedding and other items that were used by the stray cats that I wanted to give to the humane society to give to the new owners. My question is, do you think the new owners may want these items? Or should I offer to buy some new items instead of taking the ones the cats like? I know this is a weird question but how would you feel if you were the new owner, the used items are very nice quality.

I have 2 dogs. ANd they love to play and rough house, but one of the dogs likes to play bark at the other. This only happens when they are playing that she barks at the other dog.

I have a red eared slider with a 2inch (give or take) diameter shell. I have heard that you can count some kind of markings on the shell plates to tell how old they are. Is that true? If so,how do I do it?
Also, is it okay for my 7yr old to remove it from the aquarium and hold it for short periods of time? (he is a very calm, gentle child)

Dog is 4yrs old. He is high spirited by nature and loveable to family and friends. Doesn't bite. But it scares people who come to visit by the way he barks and jumps. Looks like a small Doberman. If we put him in a separate room he barks and will bite through the door. He wants to meet the people.Help any MinPin owners!

Personally, I think the guy's freakin' hilarious. I guess maybe just it helps that we share some of the same ideas. Why are so many idiots out there breeding dogs?!?!? It gives those of us responsible owners- that don't breed unless we really believe we are making a genuine contribution to the species-a bad name. People just can't deal with honesty anymore......the truth can really hurt sometimes......
