We just adopted a kitty. It'll be two days before we get him, sicne they have to do background checks and such nowadays apparently. Anyway, should we call him 'Dutch' or 'Twayne'?

I like Twayne. It's very different and unique. I once had a dog named Duchess and I used to call her Dutch or Dutchi and I think of it as a feminine name. Some people might think it was short for Duchess.

It's your kitten though, I agree with most people on here. You'll know when you get him what name fits best. When I get new kittens, I wait several weeks to name them to see what fits them best.

I like Twayne.

Dutch, to me, feels more of a feminine name but I think that is only because I heard that it was once the Princess of Wales (Lady Diana) nickname before she was married.... or that might have been spelt Duch - short for Duchess.

twayne.
it's so much more original and adorable!
and well quite frankly, if the name doesn't match the personality, then dutch is really cute too.
