Take her to a vet. He can ultrasound her and let you know for sure. If she is not, explain to the vet that you are irresponsible and any dog that decided to walk by could have bred your dog. Then ask your vet to give her a hysterectomy to make sure that this doesn't happen.

A female dog will carry pups anywhere from 56 to 63 days and it is according how far she is in her pregnancy. If at least 6 wks. or 42 days stand the dog on her all fours and place your hand near the back legs underneath her tummy.Be very easy and don't mash, but if you can feel any hard masses sorta lika a tennis ball, then your pet should be pregnant. The vets have a test they can do also to confirm if a dog is pregnant or not.Her **** will begin to fill with milk during her last week of carrying the pups, but some don't get milk til pups are born.

Just because your dog gets pregnant doesn't mean you are irresponsible, i have seen dogs jump 6 foot high fences to mate with another dog. The only way to tell for certain would be to take your dog to the vet and have an ultrasound done. Your dog may even have a phantom pregnancy so every other way but an ultrasound is pretty much guess work.

She will have quite the belly on her. Her nipples will get swollen. She will also not go into heat the whole time she is pregnant. Which should be about every 21 - 28 days. Signs she is getting close will be she will get restless not be able to get comfortable. She may go off on her own. She may gorge herself right before and then quit eating or she may quit eating all together for a bit before she has them.

When my mom's dog got preggo she ran less and stayed calmer more. She's fat now, let me tell ya..But, those are the only signs I can tell you are a possibility w/out taking her to the vet. They also have weird cravings like people when they are preggo too.
