How do you know this is a baby? It is late in the season for baby birds to be around. If it is fully feathered than it is probably a fledgling that has already left it's nest on it's own, and it is either old enough to care for itself or the parents are around still feeding periodically. I would leave the bird where you found it as the parents may be looking for it. You should keep watch to see if they are caring for it. If it is injured or really is a baby unable to care for itself, you need to get it to a local bird rehab where they can care for it properly. Also, you cannot legally possess a wild bird.

Bugs. You will need to feed live food. Most pet stores can supply locusts and mealworms. If the bird is close to fledging then you probably should leave it where you found it, as the parents are probably looking after it.
