We just bought two lab puppies, in case of accidents on the carpet, I use warm water and vinegar solution. ( about 1/3 cup vinegar to 1/2 gallon water) I don't actually use measuring cups?! Pour the solution over the spot (you just need enough to cover the spot) then cover with a dry towel. The towel will soak up the solution and urine. You may want to remove the damp towel and replace with a dry one to get all of it.

Try this:
15oz of hydrogen peroxide, 2 tsp. baking soda, 2 drops of liquid hand soap. Soak up any urine, cover the urine area until saturated with this solution. Allow to sit for 24 hours and then blot up or use a wet/dry vac to clean up any liquid.

You should use Stain & Odor removers. Or try rubbing it with soap and water. Then put vinegar on the carpet and dry it off so the dog will never pee there again. He won't like the smell!

Natural Chemistry makes a product called Stain and Odor Eliminator. Works wonderfully. I am a breeder and could not live without the stuff.
