I have a two dogs- a Labrador 85 pounds and a Chihuahua. I have a Mitsubishi Mirage car. I need a pet barrier that I can use with my car. I enter my Labrador to the back seat and he does not stays there - he jumps to the front seat and althought he is a tranquil dog- he only puts his paw on my leg ( thats dangerous when you are driving) so I need you guys to help me- I need a pet dog barrier but small enough for a Mitsubishi car. Tell me where I can buy it- For now, price is not a problem
Remember 85 pound intelligent dog ( he is trained but his owner not)

I bought some feline pine for my cat a while back and HATED it. Well I bought it on sale and still have 2 bags left.

Anyway, I know that cedar is bad to use, but would the pine cause any harm? I hate to be wasteful and it would be perfect if I could use it for my mice.

I heard on the news that animal shelters are going to ban black cat adoptions on halloween because of those nut jobs out there that like to torture animals I'm wondering are you for the ban or against it?

They are turning 6 weeks tomorrow and my vet is closed today. Yesterday I just started feeding them and I fed them ESBILAC 2nd step puppy food. I also threw in a small chewing toy also from esbilac. It was a little latex binki that was supposedly vanilla flavored. I barely saw the worms today, I have never seen a worm come out of their butts til today. We had just been given another dog (female border terrier) and she was three months old, she had worms also. Yes, we allowed contact between the two dogs, but we had previously taken B.J to the vet for a checkup and they de-wormed her so do you think the worms were transfered from b.j (border terrier) to the puppies if they licked eachother? what kind of worms could they be? Are they serious? What should I do, my vet is closed?!

I had an 8 yr old Husky and last year got and American Eskie puppy, who is now 1 1/2 yrs old. My husky loved and "raised" the puppy as his buddy. Our Husky was the alpha male but let the eskie run wild, he'd let him eat first, give him his treats, ect. yet when it came down to it, the Husky was the dominant. He protected the eskie, because the eskie thought he was bigger than he is and would always get himself in trouble with other dogs. LOL. The puppy would bite and jump on the husky playing. Now, the husky died a couple of months ago, and from the day after he died our eskie started growling and snapping at everyone outside of the family. He NEVER did this before and i thought it would pass but it been 2 months and he is still suspicious of EVERYONE, even children. Is there anything i can do??????

I have been taking my dog to the dog park every sunday for two years straight. Today, he lashed out and pretty much growled and nearly bit off a dogs nose. The only thing that was different today from all the othher days is I took him in the morning and he had not eaten anything. please help me! I don't want to stop taking him.

Best answer gets it....If you are in pet questions (which you are) you know what I mean. If you are going to ask a question like "My German Shepherd has a knife sticking out of its head (over exaggerated I know) and I need help NOW what do I do?" That for some of us we are watching to see what you do and if the dog is OK. You can UPDATE your question to let us know what is going on. Some of us sincerely cared enough to answer and want to know if your animal is OK....I guess the question here is. Why do SOME people send out an update and others DO NOT? We either never know or they wait till days later when time is up to let us know what happened. Sorry to "preach to the choir." But I have been concerned about a Great Dane that was posted yesterday. Makes me not want to answer these questions and stay in jokes and riddles.

I'm worried about my kitten. She's an indoor cat who is eating and drinking normally, but she has two perfectly symmetrical bumbs on both sides of her stomach. Is this what a swollen stomach looks like? I know that is a sign of FIP. At first I thought she was gaining weight, but since it's been a number of days, I don't think this is the case. I'm trying to avoid self-diagnosis since it's hard to know over the internet, but she doesn't go to the vet until tomorrow and I'm in search of peace of mind until then.
