i live in northwest Indiana, and i found a dark blue colored lizard if you have any information on what it might be please tell me.

We live in an area that the water is hard, so I would think our pH should be high, but it is under 6.2 (using mid range drops). We keep up with the mantainance, but even after a water change is doesn't come up very much and quickly becomes acidic. We have used 7.0 buffer and pH up, but nothing really helps. Anyone have any suggestions? It is a 55 gallon tank with undergravel and above tank filters. There are 8 fish and two snails in the tank.

We had a male Cockatiel in with her until around June when for whatever reason he passed away. We're unsure of why he died, but we adopted him only a few months before that. He had a clean bill of health. before he passed, they were showing the tell tale signs of a courting ritual and everything, but nothing ever came of it.

i just noticed about 10 minutes ago that she was laying on an egg. it looks to be normal size for a cockatiel. there is no nest box, so she made a nest out of the wood pellets that we use as a substrate. I know that they can lay non-fertile eggs, but I was curious if a cockatiel hen can store sperm until she is ready to fertilize an egg?

Is there anything else I need to do for her?

Hi Ive started to dress my cat up in small dog clothes, she doesnt go out in them as shes a house cat.
She now has a Santa Outfit, Bumblebee and superman outfit. She also wears a stunning diamontee collar, her Lastest accessory is Soft Paws claws covers that someone mentioned here a few days ago. It think she looks great, the nails finish the Pimp look.
I got them www.spuk.com, its probably the best thing Ive brought lately as it does stop her scatching furniture.
Does any one else dress up their cats or use Soft Claws /Paws?

I had a cat that liked to be outdoors all the time and became infested with flees. Now my house is infested. I have bomb my house and it was cool for about two weeks and now they are back more than ever. They are so bad that I can see them jumping all in my bed and it's hard to wash them off of me when I git in the shower, So please help, what should I do about this problem.

my slider (less than a year old) when i got him two months ago had a silver mark on his shell. now that mark is still there and i cannot tell if it is shell rot or something else. other marks on his shell looks like he is shedding and i cant tell. i keep the water clean, he has a basking lamp, and heater in the water. he also will not eat anything other than baby shrimp and bloodworms. i try offering him other things but he just refuses them daily. Please help.

We rescued a kitten two days before we went on a long [6 week] trip in our truck camper. The kitten was very good about "going" in its litter box, but now that we are back home the kitten won't go in the litter box in the back porch. She will only go it we put her back in the truck camper and then she will go in the litter box there. I have used that litter box in the house, but she still refuses to use it.

What should I do?

I have a domestic short hair cat, about 3 years old, and I brush her about once a week to keep her fur shiny and clean. However, whenever I brush her, she starts to meow and hiss and acts like I am hurting her, even though I go over her hair gently with the Furminator brush. Is she just being fussy and overdramatic, or is it really hurting her? And if it is hurting her, what can I do to get rid of her loose hair?

I have got a brand new fresh water aquarium. It has been set up 10 days ago by a specialist company. All necessary water cleaning filters, pump, heating, lighting equipment and plants are in place. I am carefully adding the required chemicals every day to prepare the aquarium for the fish that will come. But in the last to days small brownish insects started showing up. In the beginning I spotted two now the number is around 10. They are generally on the stones, on the glass sometimes on the sand. Is this a serious problem? What should I do about it? He has never had this problem. Is his digestive system over-reacting or what? He has always gone in his litter box since he was a baby now he is 8months, this morning I wake up to find a pile of runny **** on my bedroom floor. Almost looks like there was blood in it. What happens after I get the supp. transfer from AKC? Do I dual register the pups or will AKC not recognize the litter with a CKC Sire & only let me CKC register the pups? How do I ACA register? I've checked the website & emailed twice w/no reply.
