What happens after I get the supp. transfer from AKC? Do I dual register the pups or will AKC not recognize the litter with a CKC Sire & only let me CKC register the pups? How do I ACA register? I've checked the website & emailed twice w/no reply.

You can CKC register but not AKC register. The supplemental transfer form is just to transfer the dog from the last owner to you, if you bought it from someone other than the breeder. Just a form & $15. As for ACA I couldn't find any registration form for them, just a place to use your credit card for who knows what. Though I have seen a lot of breeders on dog-selling sites using ACA to make their dogs appear better registered.
As long as you know your dogs are purebred, don't worry about the registration.
Happy breeding! lol!!

If you are talking about the Continental Kennel Club, the puppies cannot be registered with the AKC as the male is not AKC registered. That makes the puppies ineligible for registration.
You can only register them with the CKC. You would register the female with the CKC, because they will register anything that pays, then the puppies will be CKC registered.
The ACA is another made up registry like the CKC. They will also register anything with money.

Unless the CKC is the Canadian Kennel Club then don't waste your money. The "other" CKC registeries as well as the ACA are scam registeries. They are registeries that were developed by irresponsible breeders who either bought their dogs on a limited registration an spay/neuter agreement but decided to go against it and breed any way or whose dogs aren't able to be registered in a legit registry or who have been suspended from dealing with a legit registry.
AKC will NOT recognize any of the puppies sired by or produced by a dog registered with a scam registry.

Do NOT breed any dog that is NOT registered by a legit registry..to do so is irresponsible. Also never breed a dog under 2 years old or a dog that hasn't passed health testing (not just simple vet exams) or who hasn't been shown or evaluated for breed standard and to prove breeding worthiness.

You can't AKC register pups from this pair. Send a copy of your female's AKC registration paper along with a CKC application to the CKC to get her CKC registered. You can then CKC register the litter.

By CKC do you mean Canadian Kennel Club?

If so, go here:

http://www.akc.org/rules/special_registry_services.cfm

The AKC will accept the CKC sire but you have to go throught he prorocess of dual-registering him if she was bred to him in the US.

DIfferent rules and procedureds depending upon whether she was bred to him in Canada or bred to him here in the US.

DO NOT EMAIL THEM - CALL THEM! The AKC does not set any records on sorting things out by email - particularly if your inquiry lacked details.

If by CKC you mean Continental Kennel CLub - FORGET IT

That is a scam "registry" that separates people from their money in return for a piece of paper that is meaningless. No regisry base for generations, no DNA proof that the dog really is that breed, no pedigrees.. no nothing. It is a fraud.

CANADIAN KC or that FAKE "CON KRAP CLUB"???

Makes a HUGE difference!!

AKC WILL recognise CANADIAN registered dogs. Their addy is akc.org & click on "foreign registration".

They will NOT touch the "CON KC"!

ACA is JUST as big a SCAM/FAKE as the "CON KRAP"!! They & the APRI were recently made up *JUST* for CROOKS to SCAM/CON the ignorant/gullible into thinking they got a REAL dog instead of a POS!
