I was just wondering what someone thought of these new gen pets out. I am not sure it is a good idea, little weird to me. If anyone reading question, owns one, is it odd having one?

Yes they look like little odd aliens or something, so odd it fascinates how they came up with a "new pet".

I meant to say if this was real or a hoax, because there is no phone number, address or anything else. It just surprised me.

I hope you realize they aren't real first off.

It's impossible to keep anything alive inside that kind of container, have them identical....etc. They're either a joke, or a toy for kids. Also, if they were real they would be incredibly expensive, and media-hyped. Notice how the web-site practically gives you zero information about the science behind it.

. Anyhow, don't take it seriously. It's kinda obvious it's a load of crap.

I'm jumping on the band wagon... you need to get two rats of the same sex. It's true what everyone is saying about rats needing to have a friend. They will get lonely, depressed and sick. They will also be nervous and not as likely to feel friendly towards you because they feel alone and frightened. Please for your rattie's sake, get two. Besides, double the rats is double the fun! And then you can pick out two cute names :) Happy Birthday!

It's not real. Look around the web, you will see that this is a hoax...but possibly a glimpse into the future.

i would have to agree with the others that this is a hoax, but even so, no retailer would ever sell them. think of the field day PETA would have. it wouldn't be worth it.
