it really depends what kind of bird...
talk to wild life society as to what you can feed it (because for example sparrows are not to be fed sesame i think) . they usually need high protein things try boiled egg white cut in stripes they will gulp it down but be aware if bird is too young you will have to feed it mashed food. more times than not the birds that are wounded and are in captivity die but give it a try. i managed to raise two baby swallows and a baby sparrow :)))

the best thing to do is to handover the wounded bird to some wildlife organisation 'cuz they'll b able to take good care of it.

there are bird hospitals.. look for one in your area....... 'cuz when the wounded bird mixes with other similar birds....... the shock may start to reduce.

or take it to a normal vet......

why din't u give any details..... like wher's the bird hurt?

Make a splint (with a little piece of wood) and put it under its wing if it's sprained or broken, then tie it w/ a piece of cloth.

If it's cut or bruised, clean the wound and wrap it w/ a bandage.

Give it plenty of food & water!

Take it to a local wildlife rehab. Some vets may be able to help. However, if you don't know what you're doing, don't attempt to touch it as you may hurt it.

very difficult to do this - the shock usually stops them from eating - brace yourself for it's immanent death - sorry.

it is pretty hard to do it yourself (because they are so fragile), you will just have to take it to the vet and they can take care of it for you.
