The light in my aquarium is set for 12 hours only using a timer. Yesterday there was power outage and the timer was reset. I want the lights on during the day and switched off at night.

She was fine yesterday but she didn't eat hardly anything today, she is also laying around alot and that's not like her. She isn't vomiting and doesn't have diarrea. Does anyone know what can be causing this?

I want to find a Halloween costume for my dog. He's a golden weighing about 75-80lbs. I want to enter him in a Scooby Doo snacks contest. Yeah I know it's a little silly. He's just so cute though. I need to find a costume big enough for him. Any suggestions where to look?

I'm leaving home for a week. Would it be better to leave my cat at home alone with someone to check on her once a day, or to leave her at the house of someone she knows? I can't decide whether it's worse to leave her alone or to move her to a new environment just so she can be around people. Please help!

I have 2 dogs.. Rocky & Macy
Rocky = Purebred Beagle (Partial Champion blood, pedigreed) (APR Registered)
Macy = Purebred Beagle (ACA Registered) I don't have her pedigree yet but on her certificate it says she is a purebred beagle and gives the names of both of her Dam and Sire.

Are ACA + APR Bad registers?
Can i register those dogs as UKC?
How do I prove Macy is purebred.
Should i breed them?

He has feline aids. I cant take it any longer. I think I should have him put to sleep. I feel terribly guilty. He was a stray and I have taken care of him and nurse his wounds from fighting. We presently live in a suburban home, but we may be moving to a 7 acre non working farm. Would it be possible to take our indoor cats and turn them into outdoor cats? They have all of their claws. There are two big barns for them. The house and barns are situated quite far from the road. We would bring them in at night during the colder weather (Upstate NY).

Any experience with or advice on doing this? Also, how would we prevent other animals (squirrels, rats, raccoons) from eating their food if we kept it in the barn?

my puppy is about 9 months old, i adopted her. i put her in the kennel when i'm not home so she doesn't chew up stuff and pee all over the place. but she barks every time i put her in it, including at night. so should i keep her in the kennel at night or let her sleep with me to keep her from barking? i'm sure my neighbors hate me by now.

My kiten is about 7 months old. We recently moved to another state and she is acting sick. Her nose is warm and her eyes watery. She is pooping very little. She is not active, sleeping all the time...she never used to do that.
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with her? Will it pass or should I take her to the vet?

I'm doing an assignment on snail bait poisoning ive got basic knowledge of what to do in a first aid situation but any other input would help id like more infomation on what first aid can be done b4 the animal is taken into the vet clinic,what can be used to induce vommiting other than hydrogen peroxide or ipecac and what the vet might do when the animal is taken in. ive given a vet clinic a call to ask for infomation but as they we're busy i thought id ask her for any inputs from people that could help while i wait for them to give me a call back.
