I have 2 dogs.. Rocky & Macy
Rocky = Purebred Beagle (Partial Champion blood, pedigreed) (APR Registered)
Macy = Purebred Beagle (ACA Registered) I don't have her pedigree yet but on her certificate it says she is a purebred beagle and gives the names of both of her Dam and Sire.

Are ACA + APR Bad registers?
Can i register those dogs as UKC?
How do I prove Macy is purebred.
Should i breed them?

Thx so much

The APR and ACA exist for the sole purpose of registering puppies produced for pet stores and by commercial breeders. The pedigree information is not checked for accuracy and almost any breeder can use the registry as long as they have photos of each dog to send in. Breeders who are banned from responsible registries for bad practice will turn to these other types in order to continue their business. Your dogs may be wonderful pets, but if you want to be a responsible breeder, only use dogs registered with the AKC or UKC. These are the only ethical dog registries in the U.S. They do not support puppy mills and they do work for the welfare of each breed, not for money. I do not think the UKC would register your dogs because the pedigrees would not pass inspection.

All that said, for pet dogs pedigrees are not very important. I have a wonderful dog (cocker spaniel x afghan) that has no pedigree whatsoever. The only time pedigrees and registries matter is if you decide to breed. Then you have responsibility as a breeder to protect the welfare of your breed and use a reputable registry.

No they are probablly not breeding stock, but both CAN be registered with AKC for an ILP number. That will however require that they be nuetered, but you can then enter them in AKC performance events. The same can be done through UKC, and both AKC and UKC have some super fun things to do with Beagles.

No comment on the other two registrys

the largest pet regestery is akc, there is the ckc canadian kennel club, not to be confused with the ckc continental kennel club. which the continental .k.c. is not a good club.dogs dont need proof to be a member.it is wise of you to find out BEFORE breeding these dogs. i have heard ukc is a good club but never heard of the aca or the apr?in my experience both parents need to be regestered to regester the litter , or a single dog.. if the parents of your dogs are regestered then you can , it just costs a lot more b/c they have to do research on the dogs in question.
