My yorkie male doesn't eat much but he does the same thing you are talking about. Somedays he'll eat but for the most part he just snacks inbetween catching a ball. Maybe she's eating more than you think. But... I asked the vet and he recommended a cup of food a day if that (for my 4 lbs yorkie), and thats it. So it doesn't take much depending on size! If this has been going on for more than a day or two you might want to change her food. Sometimes they just don't want to eat. I have two Greyhounds and they will skip a meal once in a while. Make sure she isn't getting into the trash or eating alot of table scraps that isn't good for them either. Hang in there...

She may just not like the food you are giving her. Try something different, and if she eats that you can give the other food to your local shelter.

change it's food like humans some dogs are picky eaters. try kibbles n bits it's usually a safe bet
