I'm a student and a bit short on time. I got the rat during exam time and she insists on chewing the bars of the cage. If I take her out she eventually bites me. I figure it's a boredome thing and as taking her out isn't going to happen what should I don to keep her stimulated?

I read that there is a dog breed that produces dogs that are only the size of a tea cup. They don't get any bigger. I don't know if this breed is found in the U.S. or somewhere else. Does anyone know what type of dog this is. I don't think it's the chihuahua or the yorkie.

I have treated her twice and low and behold she still has them! They are little rice looking worms and I really dont have the finances to take her to a vet right now so I need to treat her myself! IS it tape worms maybe I am not treating her right? I have a child and another adult cat in the house I don't want anyone to get infected. This cat came from an abusive home with lots of fleas I have treated her for the fleas but I need advice on the worms!?! ANYONE!?! HELP!?!?

I live in a Country where pets are not loved or cared for as much as the UK. We have many strays and poisoning going on and dogs mostly tied to chains. If a pup gets a home its lucky. Anyway my question is am I doing damage to my neighbours pup in being kind. She has a child so she keeps this six week old pup tied up outside 24.7, it had 5 brothers and sisters who he can still hear and smell up the road. I feel sorry for it so I take it in during the night with the company of my two dogs inside and take it back in the morning. We have had thunder and lightning for days and the thing must be terrified on its own tied up, it has a kennel. It crys all night. Yes ok maybe they shouldnt have taken it but they did and i want to try and help but Ive read you should ignore pup crys, opinions please.

We just picked up a new puppy at the animal shelter saturday. They said someone brought the whole liter in after finding them walking down the road. So they are not sure what breed they are. Out of the 8 pups, 4 were white with black and brown markings, beagle type. 3 were blackish brown with lighter brown rottie type markings. Mine is black with perfect rottie markings with beagle ears and a tail. How can same liter look so different, some like beagles and mine like a rottie. Would the parent be a rot or could there have been a rot farther down the line and all traits came out in just mine?

i noticed that my puppy of 1 moth started to poop (long white thing worms) with his poop after mt bf gave him a medicine that its named Nemex 2. i read the instrustions and it said that is used to get rid of worms or try to prevent them. But my question is if this medicine made the worms come out like of its cleaning him? i will take him 2 the vet 2 day but i just wanted to know if the medicine Nemex 2 did that.

I'm friends with this older lady (65, good health, needs to lose a little weight) & I'm thinking of getting her a lab from the shelter. It would give her a chance to walk every day (for her health) w/o an excuse. But I'm wondering if a lab may be too high energy or hard to maintain for an older person? She could def. take it for 1/2 hour walk once or twice a day, but she also spends a lot of time on the couch (do labs like to sit on the couch at all?)

I always have a clean litter box. I have 3 other female cats about the same age & they don't do it. Fatty the one that does this doesn't do it every day, maybe once a week. She always does it in front of her cat bowl & I always wash their bowls. There's always fresh food in them. Why is she doing this?

How will she feel after. She's very lively, I'm afraid she'll hurt herself after! How long does it take to recover? Will she change or will she be the same?

Is it true that you can do this? Do they have to be completely isolated from a pen with hens in it. Can there be another rooster in the pen with the hens? Do they have to be out of sight, sound or smell of the hens?
