Can a male dog bring a female into heat if it is between 6-9 months since her last heat?

A male dog cant bring a female into heat. Only another female dog in heat can bring youe female into heat if they live in the same house..and depending on the breed of your dog. small dog's can come into heat every 6-9months and big dog's 6-12 month's..just depends on the female...

Male dogs don't have anything to do with bringing female dogs into heat.

Nope. He might want to, but she will come into heat when it's her time and not before. And if I recall correctly, that is about every 6 months.
