I am thinking of names like Blossom, Popple, Smurf, and Jem. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I want to have her named soon!! I just got her last night. She has green eyes. This is my first ever cat, I already have a dog named Punkie (after Punky Brewster) because they're both orphans. I really need an awesome name! Help!!

I ask because Snow season is about to start... and my puppies love to romp around outside, don't know if they will like the snow, but probably since the few rainy days we have had, they wanted to run around and frolick in it. The problem is my sliding glass door leads to my kitchen, not my garage. Does anyone have any suggestions of some kind of matting or carpeting to put down on my kitchen laminate flooring for the winter? Thanks for any input.

I have no idea what they would be called... I think they maybe (I'm not sure) work with the air pump somehow. They bounch up and down in the water and I think the octupus' legs might dangle around beneath him...

I've always wanted one of these things but I've never ran into one in a store!

My apple snail appears to have trouble finding the food I leave in the tank (altho maybe thats just the way it looks to me).

He seems hungry to me because he goes around looking for food in the daytime even tho hes supposed to be mostly noctournal.

I have a ten gallon tank and I have two small goldfish in there. The goldfish bother his food while its floating around... not to mention the current created by the airpump seems to make it impossible for him to go up to the top and suck the food over to him by making his little foot funnel.

Almost everything I try to feed him winds up floating on the surface... I've given him lettuce... that floated but he managed to get some of it... I gave him a peice of tomato... that seemed to work because it sank, but it turned the water a little orange and I had to change some of it out. I've given him cucumber wedges today but the fish wont stop mouthing them around.

We'll probably go to the vet, but we'd like to start working on the problem now. He's a Miniature Schnauzer, and 6 years old. He has poop stuck to his butt a lot, and we have to give him tons of baths. He wipes his butt on the floor/grass and eats grass sometimes. We thought he didn't like his food and started eating grass and that grass was the problem. We've tried changing his food, but he doesn't seem any better. Anything we should do?

After my mom's dog passed away, we decided we would get her a kitten. We got her a little black and white kitten (now 8 weeks old) name Muffin. At first, she was real sweet and you were able to hold her and play with her.

But then my dad started to play rough with her and now she's 'wild.' She'll be good for about 5 minutes, then she'll chew at your arm, climb up your leg, smack you in the face (I actually got my eye scratched and had to go to a doctor), chew at your feet, just a handful. I know she's a kitten and kittens might act that way, but she never acted that way before my dad started playing with her.

Right now, we have two other cats (and one of the cats hates Muffin). So Muffin stays in her own little room while we slowly try to introduce the two cats. Anytime she starts acting 'wild,' we put her up. She has lots of toys and we try to play with her when we get her out.

Here's my question; besides not playing rough with her anymore, how else can we calm her down?

Tell me if you do or do not. If not, do you like the name "Tanzie" better? If you don't like either, give me some suggestions.

My puppy knows when it's a work day. As I am getting ready for work he is playful and listens. As soon as he sees me put on my suit he runs and hides under the couch or under the bed or wherever he can. It's only when I get ready for work though. If it's the weekend and I'm going out and put on a pair or jeans he doesn't run or hide. It doesn't matter which suit I put on either it's the same thing. So I spend time chasing him around the house to try and catch him. moving furniture sometimes.... just so I can put him in the kitchen 4 when I go 2 work as he is not potty trained yet. I even come home to check on him during breaks. So why is my dog doing this? How can I get him to go to the kitchen when it's time 4 me to go 2 wk? I have tired treats and toys non of which worked. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!

There are pigeons living by my neighbor's tree. Every morning, they, as a group, would fly in a circle a couple of times. Then, they would collectively sit back down in spot in the tree. A few minutes later, they would do the same thing. Why do they do that?

I have a female cat, she is under a year and she pees wherever she feels like it. She will go in her litter box sometimes, but most of the time she just pees on the floor or on my furniture. If anyonehas any suggestions on how to make her stop or why she is doing it please let me know.

We have two cockatiels in a cage in our dining room. I am constantly cleaning bird seed, feathers, dander from the shelves and tables and vents in that room. How do most people deal with pet birds and still keep the house clean. My house feels disgusting...I dont have time to dust and wash that room everyday...any ideas from other bird owners???

My dog is allergic to everything, and I'm trying to figure out which food is better - Wellness brand or Hill's Prescription Diet brand. Any positive/negative experiences on either brand would be appreciated!
