Be more responsible. Show your mom that you get it and you understand that it is a responsibility to have an animal. Help clean up the house with out being asked. Keep your room clean. Do things that your mom or dad generally insists or asks you to do and do them without being asked. Keep up your responsibilites and chores and think before you do. Believe me, they will notice!

all you really have to do is prove to your parents that you are responsible and will take care of the kitten. They are really clean animals, I have two myself. But yea, Let your parents know that you will clean the litter box, feed them, and stuff on a daily bases. I don't think they will argue much. But yet Idk. Good Luck :) Hope I helped some how

GIRL WE ARE IN THE SAME BOAT, B/C I WANT A CAT TO , BUT MY BOYFRIEND DOESN'T WANT ONE, AT LEAST YOUR PARENTS HAVEN'T SAID YES OR NO. MAYBE IF YOU GET ONE AND TAKE IT HOME, THEN THEY COULDN'T SAY NO, BUT IF THEY SAY THAT YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN BRING THE CAT BACK TO WHERE IT CAME FROM GOOD LUCK !!!!!

get a rat or a bird & demonstrate that you can look after IT. Once it start to have loads and loads of kids, you might be able to demonstrate physically to them that getting a CAT might be preferable
