Beagle colors do change somewhat, but there are no drastic changes like you're asking about.

Back in the day, I got a beagle puppy and the breeder told me it's cute little black head would turn brown as would it's ears, etc. I hoped he was wrong, but he was right. Anyway, I always heard if you follow an ugly kid home, you'll find ugly parents. What do this puppy's folks look like?

Some beagles have black heads, their markings are like any other animal, no two are alike.

I don't know, but I do know some dog breeds do change fur color as they grow older. And that does to an extent include beagles.

Usually however my beagles were born is how they stayed. I don't remember any of them changing. Good luck with your new babies.
