My friend brought a cat home the other day and we immediately noticed that it had fleas. We bought shampoo and washed the cat twice and left it in the bathroom overnight. The next day, we let the cat into our room (I should mention that we have no carpets in the room or bathroom), only after putting another flea treatment on the back of her neck, but I put the cat back in the bathroom because there were still fleas on her. Later that night we decided we could no longer deal with the problem, so we got rid of the cat.

We bleached our room and washed all our clothes, but I found a flea on my foot this morning. Is it possible that the fleas got on my bed? I can't stand the thought that there are fleas in my room because I know that they can carry serious diseases with them, but I'm not sure if finding this one flea was just a chance occurance or if I should expect more. Any advice would help.

She is about 3 yrs old very healthy and her teeth look fine. I will NOT brush her teeth, so don't go there. She eats dry food and gets a can about every week, she drinks water all the time, really her breath is enough to turn your stomach. Help.

We bought her a run-about ball and she just sits there...not moving, not budging. The last guinea pig I had loved his ball and while they are all different and I understand that...I don't understand why I can't get this one to run. Any helpful advice would be appreciated! She is refusing her favorite pass-time, playing ball, no interest in any of her toys (even new ones) but does look forward to her evening walk. I've been feeding her more then her normal portions and she is not gaining weight. The vet found 2 more lumps but said since she had a heart attack during the last surgery, there was nothing she could do. The vet did asperate both lumps and said so far they are fatty tisssue tumors and appear benign. She acts healthy, lots of energy and still likes to chase Her cat! The 2 lumps she has now are the same as the 1 removed, however these are still soft & and the removed 1 had turned hard (it had been soft for 2 yr). Has anyone ever been in this situation of between a rock and a hard place? Mischief is the love of my life, I would do anything/spend anything to help her. She does take Ascripton for pain (osteoarthritis in front paws), Benedryl for allergies, glocosomine/condroytine suppliments as well as vitamin suppliments all approved by my vet
