The above answers are pretty accurate.
The longest snake: reticulated python, of Asia. Females can, and have reached about 30-32feet.
Heaviest snake: green anaconda of South America, Females have reached 28-30 feet, with weights in excess of 500 pounds
Scrub, or amethistine, python of Austrialia is next longest. Females reach 24-28 feet long
The African Rock Python, of Africa, follows the amethistine reaching about 24-26 feet. Again, the female.
Females are larger to accomadate the large volume of eggs they can carry and the eggs' size.
The reticulated python neonates {babies} hatch out of eggs the size of soda cans and are about 3-5 feet at hatching.

The longest snake was officially 37 feet and was a reticulated python. Anacondas do not get 30 feet but an average of 22 (the green that is...yellows only get around 10). Reticulated usually grow around 28-30 feet. It is also speculated that the african python might be one of the longest snakes but know one knows how big they actually get becuase they live in the most remote and hard reach places in africa.

Reticulated Pythons, Anacondas. Not sure which is third. African Rock pythons can get very large, as can some other pythons.
The 49 foot snake was over exaggerated by over 20 feet. The snake was actually measured at between 21 and 23 and only weighed 220 pounds.

The 1st is the reticulated python. They get up to 32 feet. The 2nd is the anaconda. They get up to 30 feet long. I don't know about the third, but it's probably some sort of python.
