i own 3 res turtles but i have no filter will they be alright or should i get a filter

1. You need to do SOMETHING to keep the water clean- either constant, complete changes, or a good filter.
2. Hopefully you have a big enough tank. The goal is 10 gallons of swimming water per inch of turtle is a good start. Less stress, and actually easier to keep clean.

deponds how big tank is and how often ur willing to change the water, but it would be a good idea to get one, cuz turtle pee smells bad

you don't have to have one, but the smell gets bad if you don't. Are you aware, that you are supposed to feed your turtles in another tank. The food will make your tank smell also.
