how can i make her like me i take her for walks and cuddle with her i play with her and she still dose not like me

i,m taking it that your mam is the boss in your house, and your dog sees her as the pack leader, so it is only nature for him to suck up to your mam. As the alpha female he will do anything to get into her good books. I have a ***** and she is the same with me, i am the alpha female and she will do anything for me. She still likes her cuddles off the rest of the kids, but i,m the boss and she knows it.Dont worry so much, when you have left home, your mam has the dog for company, and the dog will not pine for you, and this is the way it should be. Let your mam enjoy this, you wont be at home forever.

Call her to you and give her a treat. Pet her and rub her belly (no dog can resist that.) Get her to sit by you, let her see you have a treat...then give her a bit now, a little later and so on. Keep saying the same thing, "Good girl.. good doggy.." in the sweetest voice. She will find that comforting and associate it all with a treat..and you. It takes time. Every time you push her away or yell at her or ignore her, she remembers that and you set yourself back. She has to trust you will be the one who spoils her, rubs her belly.
If its a yorkie, it will take longer. They are one person dogs to a DEGREE. They, and some dogs, take longer to say "Okay, I can love both folks..."

Dogs will become attached to the person who takes care of them, plays with them and spends the most time with them. Once they have attached to one person, it is difficult to get them to change when that person is still around. The only thing you can do is take over the "duties"- feeding, walking, playing, taking her out to use the bathroom, etc. Don't get discouraged- be persistant- this will take a while.

Try and be the only one in the house that feeds her! If the dog is hungry it will come to you.
It could be a case that the dog does not like you because she wants all your mum's attention to herself. Dogs can get possessive - my nana's dog became s attached to her that the dog started biting anyone that came near her. In the end the dog became so aggressive we had to put her down.

Easy when you enter a room where the dog is raise your voice to show the dog you are superior, Order the dog to move from where it is this will confuse the dog leaving it wanting to impress you.
try it you will see it works.

It is probably bacause she is around your mum most of the day. Take on the responsibility of feeding her, walking her, playing with her and grooming her. Whenever she is around keep treats in your pocket so she associates you with positive experiences. I hate to say it, but because she is around your mum most of the time, she is not likely to do the smae with you unless you see her just as much with one on one time.
Its also because she sees your mum as the alpha so wants to please her al the time. You wone be able to change this tho

Dogs associate food with affection - try feeding him/her for a week and watch the love grow!

maybe ur dog likes ur mom bc ur mom feeds her, walks her and takes care of her. If you want her to like you more then u should start feeding her and taking care of her and play with her more
