whats the signs of your pet having worms?

Is that legal? I can't imagine anyone subjecting animals to the sun, rain, wind, storms, and snow. It is 95* and in the winter it can get below freezing. All animals should have a place to get in out of the weather. What can I do?

I found a sunflower at a school near my house, and I am wondering if the seeds in it are safe to give my severe macaw as a treat. Since the plant was found in a school garden I do not think it has pesticides on it, but I want to be sure the seeds are safe, as I have only fed my bird packaged seeds before.

well, my dad put those evil glue mouse traps in the kitchen, and i didnt want the mouse to suffer so i put vegetable oil on the trap. The mouse went free, but it has some gluish stuff stuck on the back. Do you think that the mouse will be okay? Or do you think its going to die cuz of the oil? it is as small as a coacaroach? What do you think?

I posted this question last night but had something to add and I am just fuming!! The gist of it is...We were at somebody's home (a relatives) and my 10 month old daughter was sitting on the couch with my husband. This person's daughter owns a pit mixed dog, and it was laying in it's bed a couple of feet away. My daughter wanted to get off the couch so she leaned forward but didn't actually get off the couch, my husband was holding onto her still. The dog growled and snapped at my daughter, but my husband quickly pulled her away. The owner of the dog actually yelled at my husband for not controlling our daughter!! My daughter did not provoke the dog at all, she didn't even go near it.

I think this dog is essentially dangerous around my child and do not want to visit anymore if the dog is there, they say I'm being paranoid.

So tonight we went to dog owner's SISTER's house. And she brought the dog there. She got very mad at me when I asked if the dog could be kept in a

When I bought my latest aquarium, it came with two filters. A regular hang over the top type and an undergravel one. Well, the undergravel was all taken apart and came with no instructions. I have never set up one and decided to just forget it.

What should I do with it? Toss it? Sell it? I don't even know if all the pieces are with it. Hate to accidently screw someone over.

Or, are there possible instructions online?

I came home 2 nights ago to find that my birdys mught have went wild in the cage at night (maybe one of them feel, they heard some noise or whatever, it happens) and I wasn't there to turn on the lights, let them out and calm them down because I was at the airport picking family up. Anyways, my oldest male had some blood on the bottom side wing part and it was dry, so we just let it be because he flew fine and semmed normal.

For 2 days, he has been sleeping most of the day. He flies fine and eats and drinks normaly. He just sleeps too much. I thought it was lack of sleep, so I put them in a bit earlier last night, but he slept for about 2 hours now. He is NEVER like this. He is such a people bird. He yells, flies around and cannot be without the hen. Right now, it's like he just doesn't care about ANYTHING. He just went into his cage and even with the lights on, tucked his head back and is sleeping!

He never really lets anyone pet him, but now he even let me pet him more than once!

What can be wrong with him???
He is not even a "shy" bird right now, he just sits there all puffed up and ready to sleep!

I will go to the vet on Monday, but until then...what shaould I do!?!

I was browsing the paper earlier and spotted a 55g aquarium with heater, filter, and hood for 70$. I don't have the space for one right now but oh that is a steal (if everything is ok and not broken somehow)!

I'm going to get a storage shed here soon and might have the room in that. It will be there for a number of years until I get a bigger place.

My question posed to you:

If you saw the add and were getting a storage...would you buy the aquarium and store it or not because of fear of it somehow being broken?

My nog just got put to sleep about about a half hour ago, he was at the vet on an IV for 36 hours, How much will this cost overall, they had to put him down so figure that in there too. we get charged for all services whether he would have lived or not. Are there any vets out there who know FOR SURE, Or does anyone have any similar experiences? He weighed only 1.5 lbs.

Our dog just started "menstruating". We've had her 3 weeks, (she's a stray) and her veterinary appointment isn't for another 2 weeks (when she will be checked over, vaccinated, and have another appointment made so that she can be spayed.. My question is this:

4 days ago our neighbor's neutered dog got into our yard and mated with her and they were "tied" for at least 10 minutes. (stuck together).. We know for a fact that he is neutered.. What are the chances that she will go through a false pregnancy?? She's starting to act "strange" and her vulva is even more swollen then before but no discharge.. Her nipples seem to be a bit swollen.. How soon will we know? Anyone else have similar experiences?? What should we expect?? if anything..

What diseases could our neighbor's dog get from her?? He's up to date on his vaccines and heart worm meds... His owner made him a vet appointment to have him checked out just in case...
