Give it a couple of tablespoons of canned pumpkin, not the pumpkin pie mix, just plain canned pumpkin. Will work like a charm unless there is a blockage.

Probably best to take it to the vet if that continues for more than 3-4 days. Especially if you noticed it chewing on anything that might be causing blockage like cloth or string/rope. Try bottle feeding it lukewarm water and pet milk with about 3 parts water to 1 part milk. Could just be a little dehydration. Don't give it any kind of medication unless a vet directs you to.

IMHO, You should go one step further. Bring in an Animal Control officer to speak with them about the dogs. I think you tried doing it the 'polite' way, now it's time to do it the legal way. Those puppies may very well die because their owners are very ignorant. If you feel that it's safer for them not to realize it was you ask to remain anonymous. If the puppies have been 'walked' in any area visible not only to yourself but others as well then the chances of them figuring it out are slim to none. Good luck, don't give up yet.

That happened to my rat terrier when he was about the same age. We took him to the vet and found out that he had eaten part of a rubber toy and it had blocked up his intestines. This is not always the case but I would take him to the vet just to make sure. If there is a blockage that isn't taken care of the dog can eventually die.

5 Weeks old! What has it eaten that it is constipated? Are you sure it has not ingested something like towels, socks, etc.
Something doesn't sound right here. Call the Vet!

my pitbull had the same problem when he was about that age. the vet told me to wet a cotten ball with warm water and rub his butt. And it will make him poop. because that is what the puppy mother does when they are little. so give it a try it worked for my dog.

I agree with Thomas. Rat poison is the best thing. lots of it.
I can't believe people find it ok to endanger the lives of children in the neighborhood because their cute puppy never did anything bad (until the day it killed a kid)

Some really good insurance, and a human hand. Check the laws in your community though. It may be illegal to maul humans to death where you live.
