No, they tend to be very human like. I had one that would pull his own steak off the grill when HE thought it was done enough!

No, it's not weird at all. My dog used to do the same thing she used to sleep with this huge oversized lamb stuffed animal ( it was completely hilarios to see a 20lb dog sleep cuddled next to a giant lamb), that I won at a fair 8 years ago,I think she felt like she was momma dog. Even now that she is 7 years old, she acts like smaller dogs are her puppies.

No stranger than my dog who fostered and nursed a motherless kitten.
Or my Yorkie that has a favorite squeekie toy that he can;t live without.
Or, Gosh so your dog has his own teddy bear, I still sleep with mine!

My dog will not sleep without her pink cover next to her. It helps to keep them warm
and she sleeps with a Coors light can.. she doent drink though! LOL

Not at all. I think it's great! One of my shepherds sleeps with his stuffed frog. My dachshund sleeps with a stuffed purple dachshund almost as big as she is. :)

I don't think it's weird at all - most all greyhounds loved stuffed toys and are constantly playing with them.

If it is a girl dog it might want a little baby. Or if it is either a boy or a girl it might want a friend! :)
