My girlfriends 17 year old cat died peacefully in her sleep. The last 2 weeks she was losing bladder control and had a number of accidents. The smell is terrible and I am afraid a new cat will think it can use these spots to pee. Any ideas on how to permanently eliminate the odor.

I have a rather large Bermese and he will only eat rats that can run but he needs the genetically modified ones with legs that cannot touch the ground, he is very picky, what can I do?

Last night we played tennis, and my dog (11 month old female shepherd-hound mix) chased the ball for about 45 minutes on the tennis court. Today, she's kinda dragging her back legs, one of them a little more than the other. Can't tell if she rubbed her pad down or her toenail or actually may have pulled a muscle, but is there any kind of pain reliever to give her? She's not acting hurt, but if it's inflamed, is it okay to give her part of an advil or something? Please help! I'm really upset about it.

My setup is a 55-gallon saltwater tank, set to about 78-degrees. Current residents include a percula, a cinnamon clown, a few damsels, a coral beauty angel, and a snail and a shrimp. I have a standard hood and would prefer not to add metal halide or other specialized lights, if possible. Can anyone suggest any species of anemone that would work well (colorful would be nice, but not a dealbreaker)? Anything special I should know in terms of care and feeding? Any particular dangers to my current tank setup?

I am planning to get a betta, some tetra, and a snail or two. My tank comes with all the systems "fully intrigrated" including a motor that pumps water through the filtrations.
