I'm very fortunate to have a vet who thinks with her heart and not with her wallet.
For my cats, I pay 24.00 for an examination.
Alteration:
Male- 32.50
Female-61.00
Rabies,3 year-10.50
FVRCP annual- 22.25
So annually I pay 46.25 per cat, that is,if nothing goes wrong.
My cats are all indoors by the way.

An office visit for me is $44 now. A blood panel is up to $99. Uranalysis is around $40 as I remember. Acupuncture is $85. Fluid therapy $38. Antibiotic injection $31. Steroid injection $31. Gas anesthesia $105. Dental prophylaxis $76.
Aren't my vets lucky! They must vacation in Hawaii every year.

Cat: $19.50 for visit/exam
$18.00 for rabies shot
nothing for the distemper/upper resp shot (FVRCP) if I get the exam.
I just paid $120 to get the dog's teeth cleaned and $24 for a heartworm test.
I'm north of Seattle.

An office bisit is $25.
Rabee shot $10.
Feline Leukemia shot $30.
However, if I get the cats a physical, they give me a discount on the shots. Very cool. Most veterinary costs are about the same.
