Many herbivores will eat meat given a chance, and there are cases on record of elephants eating meat as well.
One elephant ate a lot of fish in its diet, and wild elephants have been seen eating fish as well.
Elephants have been recorded killing rodents in their enclosures then eating them.
One case on record has an elephant eating a human.
If you want to go this route (remembering that steak costs more per pound than normal elephant food), just chop it up and add it to the meals.

well elephants don't eat steak because they are herbivorous.try feeding the elephant some vegetables and fruits so that it will not get hungry and eat you.you cannot force anyone to eat the food that they do not like, feed them what they really want.......
