It's a possibility. Take her to the vet and get her checked out just to be safe.

You need to find the box from the ant poison and contact the company. You can also call poison control but you will need the box anyway for the active ingredients. Some of them are not as bad as others but unless you find out, I would take her to the vet. These poisons do not always produce signs of an illness until it is too late. They start on the insides of the dog and once you notice the dog is ill, it is usually too late.

You need to find out what the active ingredient in the poison was. Find the box or look it up on the internet. Not all ant poisons are the same. Some are highly toxic while others are fairly benign to mammals.
The veterinarian or poison control will ask you for the ingredient, be smart and have that info ready.

YES!!! take her to the vet now or she will get very sick and probably die depending on how much poison was ingested. Call an emergency 24 hour vet. The vet will probably tell you to induce vomiting in the dog by giving a solution of weak hydrogen peroxide( it should say on the bottle 3%) one half of a teaspoon every 3 minutes until the dog vomits, or just get her in to see the vet immediately for an emetic(vomit inducing) shot and i.v. fluids. You need to call right away or permanent organ damage could occur.

you should call your vet to see if they need to give her something to make her vomit up the poison. This needs to be done right away. That sort of thing can hurt the liver and kidneys and cause death if she got alot in her system. Depending on the poison she ate will determine the route they go on the treatment...it might be hard on her throat to vomit the poison up...so they might have to do other treatments.

Call animal poison control immediately. You also need to contact the vet because you need to get your dog to the vet to get some activated charcoal or her stomach pumped. Your vet will have an emergency call number.

You never know. I would take her to the Vet. Just in case. My dog ate posion once and puked for weeks, I thought he wasn't going to make it, and I couldn't afford for the Vet to fix him. I keeped him hydrated and made sure he ate at least 3-4 times a day, even if I had to force him to drink or eat. He would sometimes puke it back up, but he made it.:)
Keep her Hydrated and feed, even if she pukes it up make sure she is eating. This will help her.
