It's a red mazda miata. No carport, no garage. Don't want to kill or injure, just want to get their attention so the behavior will stop. These are my cats, all 7 of them. No neighbors. Can't watch car while sleeping. Need a fix that works on its own. Car cover can't be on it 24/7. A mild jolt, I thought might work, but you guys need to be specific on how I can do this without hurting my petty-pets.

I have an unfixed female that lives strictly indoors. She has been in constant heat for months on end. I have wanted to get her fixed, but I have read not to do that while they are in heat. Her heat won't stop! At any rate, she pulled out the fur around her nipples and plumped up and even took most of the fur off her lower tummy. I know she is not pregnant, but could it be a false pregnancy? Is that possible? Also, does anyone know anything about getting a cat fixed while they are in heat? This can't keep going on like this..she is yowling and howling and driving me up a wall..plus she tries to get the poor dog to mate her, and the dog looks molested.

We want to get a Great Dane but everyone I know says we don't have enough room for one. I have seen people keep them in apts and they were fine. I have a townhouse and a small yard but we have a local dog park and are an active couple. Does anyone know about how much space a dane takes up, what energy level they have, and if one would be ok in this environment?

I was watching HBO and saw a special called "Dealing Dogs" it was a typical story about a puppy mill.
Martin Creek Kennels in Little Rock Arkansas.
I only caught the last part, so didn't see if they had any other mills, breeders, brokers, etc. in there. But it was described as "situation of breeding/selling dogs to medical research". When you looked under info. on the t.v. description.

Okay...I work full time (and so does my husband) so my 9 month old cocker Spaniel has to stay home by himself all day long. He has a bladder problem so he can't hold his pee very well (unless he stays in a crate). I feel really guilty leaving him in the crate all day long (and at night when we sleep). We bought him one for an X-Large dog even though he's just medium sized, so he has food and water with him, and enough room for a toy or two. I still feel soooooooooooooooo guilty. Any ideas on how to make this better?

As part of my house-sitting stint, I'm in charge of some hissing cockroaches. Every two-three days, I'm supposed to go out, give them some water and some lettuce.

Today I went out to find one in decomp in the water bowl. Uh oh. I threw him away and cleaned the bowl.

What could have killed him? How mad do you think the owner will be (if you've read one of my other posts, I also owe him a king sized sheet because the bird...ate it.) and are these things easy to replace? I've never exactly gone cockroach buying.

I just hope no other animal dies. I can't imagine killing the tarantula or piranhas.

Do dogs REALLY see in black and white, or is it just some dogs. If they see in black and white, then that means that they wouldn't be going after a laser lik cats do. My chihuahua doesn't, but then again, i've seen another dog go crazy over a laser.
