in my backyard, in a safe placee... But what do i do with it now, there are no worms in my backyard for it to eat?!?!?!!? what can i do??

I have two dogs..they were playing last night in the backyard. Turns out one of my dogs chipped his lower k9 tooth pretty bad. Im just trying to get the most opinions as possible.

We just moved to another house. My kitty made the adjustment very well.....But lately, she has been mellowing a lot....I am not sure if she is trying to tell me something or is just bored..... Also, she used to go out all the time....We installed a cat door but she hardly goes out like she used to in the other house. Any ideas? Thanks

I would like to compare them with the rules/regulations in place at the local shelter here. I think something is not quite legitimate about it. I know four people who have applied for different dogs recently; all were turned down for various reasons. None have any history of animal abuse/neglect, all are (as far as I know) responsible, loving pet owners. All had references, a vet., etc. I would like to compare other known rules/regulations regarding adoption with other animal shelters. This shelter just reopened recently. It was closed for awhile for unknown reasons. One friend was told the puppy she applied for had been transfered to another shelter, then they told her the puppy was adopted. By this time we became suspicious, so we checked on the web, only to find out that the puppy was now at another "no-kill" shelter which rescues dogs before they are euthanized. This has raised a lot of questions.

Keep in mind that a lot of the pets were brought to shelters and the owners weren't able to return asap, and they were already put up for adoption.
some of these animals were at home, with their owners, when the houses were blown away and were found later, and owners are having to fight new owners.
i've been seeing a few cases on the news about this and I was wandering your thought.
I think the animals should be returned to the former owner

My guinea pig just turned 4 years old in May, and she's been having problems for the past month. She won't eat much and she just lays there during the day. But at night she's always squeaking and she runs around her cage. I've been feeding her before I go to bed at night because she won't eat during the day anymore. I've been feeding her some carrots and lettuce, and I've given her the pellet food too. I've had her for four years (I got her at 6 months old) and she's been fine up until now.
Can someone tell me why she will only eat and be active at night now? Do guinea pigs become nocturnal on their own, or is this just a phase or something?

my dogs nails are getting to longand i think they are contributing to her arthritus. how do i go about trimming them without causing pain?(when do nails get to a certian point they get blood veins)
