she's probably just trying to adjust. new houses smell and sound different even to cats. so she might be meowing to find something that is hers (my cats talk to stuff all the time), she could just be bored. i'd give her some time, let her get to know her new home. If you don't notice her in any kind of pain, i wouldn't worry too much. but if you see her meow and she looks like she's hurting, get her checked out. moving is hard on animals too....they seem to adjust but sometimes they can feel like they've lost something and scour the house howling and crying until they really realize that it is different.

Have you been spending less time with kitty since the move? She might just be asking for additional attention. My kitties, Muneca (20), Mewsetta (13), and Beauregard (11), will come to me and meow at me if they want attention. I was recently gone to California for 17 days, during which time friends/
neighbors "babysat" the darlin's. Now Beauregard won't let me sleep at night. He pats my eyelids every half hour to make sure I'm still alive and well. Mewsetta will jump up on the counter and meow and purr at me when I'm on the phone, but she's always done that.
These guys were all transported cross country from California almost seven years ago. They had a cat door there, and were in and out except at night. We had coyotes, so brought them inside and locked their door at dusk. Walls in the house here are extremely thick, so I've never installed a cat door. They don't seem to want to go out as much as they did in California, and I don't let them do so unless I'm home. I do let Beauregard out at night, but he just sits in the garden or at the bottom of the back steps, and doesn't really go anywhere. When I go to bed, I catch him and bring him in the house.
Did your kitty have a kitty "friend" at the old house? Perhaps she misses him or her. You might consider getting kitty a playmate, particularly if you're gone during the day. Or, if you're home, take her out for a walk when she meows at you.

If she is not spayed then she could be in heat. If she is spayed, try getting her some toys and catnip. If she continues to meow, she may just want attention from you.
My cat, Rosina, used to meow a lot and I think she just wanted the attention. When I started playing with her more the meowing decreased.
If all else fails, take her to the vet to see if a new problem has developed physically.
Hope this helps and have a great day!!!

Well personally my cat used to do that too. She would just mope around...It could be that (don't laugh I'm serious) she's depressed. You need to give her sooo much more attention!! Like as much as possible! Because it's hard for her to get around because she isn't used to what is outside. Like maybe you moved to a place with busier streets. Your cat could be scared is not going to the other people's houses because she does not like all the new sounds outside!

i would suggest taking her to the vet, we had cat when we first moved she was fine but over a period of time she become less active, oneday we took her to the vet and came to find out she had cancer, i wish that i knew then what i know now, and i would have taken her sooner, hope you dont go thru the same as i did if that s the case, but i can say my new cat that i have now was kinda skiddish at first and scared for a 2 weeks and now shes coming around, good luck on the issue

Maybe your cat still isnt quite adjusted yet...or maybe it is in heat. It may think its surrounding environment is still strange and is afraid to go outdoors just yet, but don't worry the cat will adjust...try to go outside and take it out with you to get it adjusted to the area.

the best you can do is spoilt her a little bit more. maybe she hasn't been adapted as well as you think, give her a little time. maybe she can be pregnant, and she wants more affection than she ever asked for. if spoilting her doesn't work for your kitty, maybe you should talk to her vet.
